Machi and Uvogin announced for Hunter X Hunter: Nen Impact

There’s few developers in the world who have more experience in wild tag-team fighting games than Eighting, and they’ve got some fun new stuff to show off for their latest project.

During CEO 2024 finals day, Bushiroad and Arc System Works announced Machi Komacine and Uvogin are coming to Hunter X Hunter: Nen Impact as playable fighters.

Both Machi and Uvogin are members of the Phantom Troupe in the manga / anime though their power set could not be more different.

Machi’s Nen abilities revolve around her special threads that can be used to wrap up the opponent, pull them in close, throw them around and cut them into ribbons if needed.

She’s also definitely a character built around speed as well with a dash attack to move around the ground and the air, so it looks like she won’t have any trouble converting into big combos from pretty much anywhere.

As his looks suggest, Uvogin is basically all about that brute strength thrashing the enemies about with his giant swings, kicks and even screams though that doesn’t mean he appears to be that slow either.

The big brawler also seems to have an Install Super with his Nen aura to enhance his power further as well as his signature Big Bang Impact.

They join the growing 3v3 roster including Gon, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, Hisoka, Netero, Genthru and Bisky, who was the previous most recent reveal.

With 16 character slots shown on the official website, this means there is likely 6 more fighters yet to be revealed for the base roster.

We could end up seeing more at Anime Expo this week, but if not, HxH will presumably have more to reveal at Evo 2024 later in July too.

Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact is scheduled to release in 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
