Speer begins the episode by breaking down Wilson’s recent major accomplishment for the Las Vegas Aces. Over the weekend, Wilson became the Aces’ all-time leading scorer. She passed Sophia Young-Malcolm as the franchise’s points leader, Speer explains. “And if you’re like me,” Speer adds, “I’m in awe of [Wilson] every single time.” Speer also describes the heartwarming moment after the game, when Young-Malcolm came out on the courts to congratulate Wilson.

Later on, Speer goes back in time to discuss the importance of July 8, 2014, in the WNBA. “Let me know if you recognize these names,” Speer says. “Elena Delle Donne, Angel McCoughtry, Tamika Catchings, Shoni Schimmel, and Cappie Pondexter.” She also reads off the list of reserves, replacements, and recaps the tournament. Speer provides viewership numbers for the 2014 tournament as well as average attendance records for 2014. And later on, Speer closes out by saying, “we did a check in 10 years ago, we did a present check in, and my future projection is that total attendance is going to skyrocket.”
