“There was a little bit to think about [after Scotland]. A few things we can tighten up, in the field we pride ourselves on our intensity so we want to put that right. But we’ve trained well and feeling good, it’s a very exciting occasion.

“They’re a top team but form doesn’t count for much in one off games.”

Mitch Marsh says that he would have bowled first too, but he’s not too fussed, as is his way.

“We were going bowl first too but hopefully we can get a good total and make the most of using the pitch first,” he says.
