Lim joins the Blue Raiders for 2024-25 season – Middle Tennessee State University Athletics
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women’s tennis head coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall announced the addition of Zenn Lim to the program for the 2024-25 season.
“I am excited about Zenn becoming a Blue Raider,” said Coach Bailey-Duvall. “I believe her passion for tennis and work ethic will be a great addition. I am very much looking forward to working with Zenn and helping her reach her greatest potential.”
A native of Selangor, Malaysia transfers to the Blue Raiders after two seasons at the University of Southern Mississippi.
At Southern Miss, Lim has tallied 11 singles and 12 doubles wins. In her freshman season, she won 10 singles matches including a stretch of five straight wins. In the fall of 2023, Zenn won three qualifying rounds against Alabama A&M, Northwestern State and Jacksonville State in the ITA Southern Regional Championships. Lim was a finalist in the 2023 Lady Eagles Fall Invitational.
Lim was a SAAC member and on the 2024 Spring Dean’s List.
“I am super excited to be joining the Blue Raider family,” said Lim. “Joining the team isn’t just about improving the game; it’s about building friendships, pushing to the limits and being a part of a group that shares the same love and passion for the sport. I can’t wait to explore more with the team and go Blue!”
Before Southern Miss, she was named 2019 Most Improved Tennis Player by Lawn Tennis Association. Zenn was a two-time Gold medal Singles and Doubles title winner. Lim won the Bronze medal at the Malaysia Women’s Masters and was the KL Open TennisMalaysia Women’s Singles Champion. Zenn was the No. 3 ranked player in Malaysia and the No. 1 ranked in her home state.
