Lethbridge Police investigating after bullet strikes window of residence

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is investigating an incident where a window at a residence was hit by a bullet.

On Friday, July 12, 2024 at around 10:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a bullet hole in the front window of a home along the 1000 block of 12 Street South. The bullet also damaged a TV in front of the window.

The occupants of the residence said they went to bed at around 11:30 the previous night, and did not hear any gunshots.

LPS launched an investigation into the incident, and found witnesses who described hearing a loud bang or pop sound between midnight and 1:00.
