Leonardo DiCaprio treats his niece Normandie, 17, to Prada shopping spree in LA
LEONARDO DiCaprio has been spotted indulging in some serious retail therapy with his niece, but failed to help her carry the oversized shopping bags.
The film star enjoyed a day out with his family in Los Angeles on Monday.
For the outing, Leonardo, 49, was joined by his niece, Normandie Farrer, 17, as well as the actor’s father George DiCaprio, and his stepmom Peggy Farrar.
Normandie seemed to be picking up plenty of luxury goods, stopping off at Tiffany & Co. and Prada.
She appeared to have her hands full as she carried two big bags of designer merch, along with her jacket, purse and a bottle of water.
Meanwhile, her famous uncle strolled along with just a small bottle of water in his hands, apparently declining to help his niece carry her shopping.

Leonardo kept his look lowkey for the outing, with a face mask and black baseball cap.
The star dressed casually in a baggy gray tee and pants, layering up in a Moncler jacket.
Normandie, meanwhile, smiled as she walked beside her uncle while sporting a light layer of makeup.
The teen kept her long brunette hair loose, and looked relaxed in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, along with an assortment of jewelry.
TROUBLED PAST
Normandie seemed in very good spirits during her shopping trip, after a scary childhood experience with her dad Adam Farrer, 52.
Adam is Leonardo’s stepbrother, but has lived a very different life to the Hollywood icon.
While Adam started out in acting with many television credits to his name as a child, drug addiction changed his path.
In January 2014, Adam and Normandie’s mom Charity Moore were arrested in Texas on drug charges.
The duo had their daughter with them, sparking a kidnapping case.
Due to Adam and Charity’s previous arrests, Normandie was a dependent of the court in California.
Leo and I never had an argument. But he started surrounding himself with people that didn’t want me around. He’s the biggest star in the world and there’s me, messed up on drugs. I was slowly shut out of his world.

The then-6-year-old’s parents were not supposed to take her out of state, prompting Los Angeles Police to search for her.
The police department began a search for Normandie under “Parental Familial Abduction” at the time.
While the matter was resolved, Normandie’s parents weren’t able to commit to a crime-free life.
The couple lost custody of their daughter in 2014, with Leo’s mom and stepdad stepping up to raise her.
In 2016, Adam outlined, “[Leonardo and I] were once so close. I loved him and I still do. But we’ve not spoken in a couple of years.”
He added, “I was arrested five or six times for petty theft, shoplifting from supermarkets, trying to support an opiate addiction of half a gram to a gram a day.
