Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly living separately amid divorce rumours. JLo and Ben are subjected to divorce rumours for a few weeks now. While the couple has not addressed the claims, they reportedly sold their love nest — their $60 million mansion — which has fuelled the divorce rumours. Amid the speculations, a new report has claimed that Ben and Jen are no longer living in the same house, and that Jennifer is house hunting for herself.

A source told Entertainment Tonight, “Jen and Ben have been living separate lives but have not officially separated yet. At this point, they are just doing their own thing. They went into their relationship very optimistic and thought things could change, but they haven’t.”

While Jennifer is house hunting, she is reportedly falling back on her sisters and mother in this trying time. “Jen is touring houses and shopping around for her own home. She has been leaning on her mom, sisters, and kids during this transitional period.” The singer has two sisters, Lynda and Leslie Ann.

On the other hand, Ben is getting support from his close friends, especially Matt Damon. “Ben is sad about it all but focused on his work, being a great dad, and co-parenting well with Jennifer Garner. He has been leaning on Matt Damon and his close circle of guy friends. Matt is always in Ben’s corner and is supportive of him,” the insider added.

Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance in 2021 and married the following year. Their divorce rumours first made headlines in May this year after a report by In Touch Weekly claimed that the couple parted ways because “she can’t control him, and he can’t change her”. Later, another report by Us Weekly claimed that the tension between the Hollywood duo started a few months back when they started to argue over “finances”. Reportedly, JLo was very much focused on her work, which left Ben a little disappointed.

The insider further revealed that Ben apparently “doesn’t agree with Jennifer’s lifestyle” and was feeling “worn down” by the marriage. It also claimed that “both have demanding careers that often require them to be in different cities.” This is said to be one of the primary reasons which caused tension between Ben and Jen.

Lately, Lopez has stepped back from the limelight, prioritising her well-being and family over her career. She also cancelled her highly anticipated This Is Me… Live tour, which left her fans disappointed.
