Jennifer Garner was spotted attending her son Samuel Garner Affleck’s basketball game on Saturday in Los Angeles. Garner was accompanied by her ex-husband and fellow actor Ben Affleck.
In an attempt to keep things casual, Garner laced up a pair of Chloe Nama woven sneakers in burgundy and neutral hues. Retailing for $850 on SSENSE, the high-end sneaker features breathable and ultra-flexible woven and stitched uppers that offer textural interest accompanied by suede overlay detailing and sleek white lace-up closures.
The low-top sneaker is a mix of sophistication with playful bohemian touches that bring the silhouette full circle. Created by Gaby Aghion in 1952, the Nama sneaker is made to embody that hallowed cool and effortless French girl aesthetic.
Garner’s 12-year-old son sported neon green Nike Zoom Kobe 6 Protro in the “Grinch” colorway and alternative bright red laces. The footwear featured textural bumpy uppers, along with black and red contrasting accents throughout. The style is a callback to Nike’s prior release of the “Grinch” colorway in 2010 for their Nike basketball Christmas Day collection. The sneaker style is perfect for shooting hoops.
In a similar boho fashion, the “13 Going On 30” star donned light-wash baggy jeans worn alongside a deep blue sweater with burgundy stitching, a callback to the colorway of her shoes. Additionally, the thespian wore black sunglasses which shrouded her features.
On the shoe front, the “Adam Project” actress often gravitates toward chunky athletic sneakers that are ideal for school pickups or running. These sneakers hail from high-end and affordable brands such as Brooks, Newton, Glycerin, The Row, Isabel Marant, Chloe and Nike. On the flip side, contemporary footwear styles from high-fashion brands have also entered her rotation, including the likes of Brunello Cucinelli, Chloé and Prada, among others. These high-end styles include preppy oxfords, sandals and boots.
