Jariyah Williamson, Murray Norman named MVPs of 2024 West Tennessee All-Star basketball game
West Tennessee’s best high school basketball players hit the court one more time Saturday at the 2024 West Tennessee All-Star games.
The girls started things at TCA and played the traditional 32-minute game broken up by four quarters. The boys played the second game and used two 20-minute halves.
The South dominated the North for a 63-50 win in the girls game. The boys game ended with a high-scoring 123-82 victory by the North.
Here are the players who had the most impact on the games.
2024 West Tennessee All-Star basketball game
Girls game
Jariyah Williamson, Chester County
Williamson was named the MVP of the girls game after a 22-point performance with six rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks. Williamson also showed her aggressive play by driving to the rim often, drawing plenty of contact to earn trips to the free-throw line. She shot 5-of-6 from the line.
Lilly Kee, Huntingdon
Kee scored 21 points in the loss and nearly notched a double-double with nine rebounds. Kee was a frontcourt force for the Fillies. She showed that talent, highlighted by going 7-for-7 from the free -throw line.
Kimora Currie, South Side
Currie has long been an excellent defender, she had three steals to go with 10 points and four rebounds.
Hallie Allen, South Gibson
Allen caused problems for the North offense with five steals while adding seven points, five rebounds and two assists.
Boys game
Murray Norman, Munford
Norman earned MVP honors with a 14-point showing with three rebounds, an assist and steal. Norman was key in ball movement for the North and also had a dunk.

Ja’Marion Whitelow, Ripley
Whitelow scored 19 points with seven rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal. He also made long passes in transition, leading to easy shots for teammates.
Larry Coleman, Halls
Coleman did a bit of everything for the North. Coleman had 24 points, seven rebounds and a steal. He had multiple dunks and hit a 3-pointer late in the game.
Ridgley Ragan, Jackson Christian
Ragan showed his post mobility that helped him have success with the Eagle. Ragan had 14 points, seven rebounds, two steals and an assist for the South.
