Jake Hager (formerly Jack Swagger in WWE) is reportedly no longer working for AEW – NoDQ.com: WWE and AEW Coverage
As previously noted, Mark Henry and Arn Anderson publicly announced that their AEW contracts are expiring and they will be leaving the company. It appears that they aren’t the only ones departing AEW.
On Tuesday night, Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net reported the following…
“Sources have confirmed to Bodyslam.net that AEW Star Jake Hager’s contract has also recently expired and that he did not re-sign with All Elite Wrestling making him a free agent. It was also noted to me that the decision was believed to be mutual.”
After finishing his time as Jack Swagger in WWE, Hager made his AEW debut on October 2nd 2019 during the first episode of Dynamite. Hager was aligned with Chris Jericho for most of his run. Hager’s last AEW match was a loss to Roderick Strong on the February 23rd edition of Rampage.
