Isabel Marant launches pop-up on Vestiaire Collective – TheIndustry.fashion

Isabel Marant, the famed French fashion designer known for her eponymous label and effortlessly cool aesthetics, is collaborating with luxury reseller Vestiaire Collective on a pop-up shop.

From Monday, customers will have exclusive access to the digital pop-up to shop pieces hand-picked by the designer.

The online store will spotlight vintage pieces from the Isabel Marant, Marant Etoile line (the secondary collection), shoes and accessories. What’s more, 15 of her most well-known looks from fashion shows over the past decade will be on offer.

There will be multiple sizes available for specific looks, with prices ranging from $15 to $1,000.

This partnership is part of the Isabel Marant Vintage initiative, launched by Faume in 2021. Faume was created in 2020 to manage brands’ secondhand market globally from a logistical perspective. As part of its joint venture, Faume and Marant also sell vintage online at isabelmarant-vintage.com to extend the life of garments and promote circular fashion.

“We are thrilled to partner with Vestiaire Collective to offer our customers an exclusive selection of curated pre-loved pieces. This initiative aligns with our commitment to sustainability and allows our fashion to continue to bring joy to new owners for many years to come, what I like to call ecology of clothing”, Isabel Marant told WWD.

Sophie Hersan, Co-Founder and Fashion Director at Vestiaire Collective, added: “Isabel Marant embodies a highly recognizable lifestyle and a free-spirited personality. Her timelessness and modernity triumph with each collection. Vestiaire Collective, which has in its DNA the promotion of timeless fashion and durable pieces, is delighted with this partnership encouraging ever greater circularity and sustainability.”

More designer brands are collaborating with Vestiaire Collective as of late, to promote circular fashion and to help fight fashion waste. Last year, the online reseller collaborated with Gucci and Burberry to host similar pop-up shops.
