Digital Government and Service NL Minister Sarah Stoodley is congratulating employees in the province’s Motor Registration Division who were recently on the receiving end of several awards.
First, the province’s Insurance Validation Program, which uses digital tools to notify when a person’s insurance is no longer valid, has received a Regional Award for Innovative Use of Technology from the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators.
Earlier this month, two of the division’s Deputy Registrar’s of Motor Vehicles received awards.
Lisa King, who also serves as a board member on Canadian Safety Council, has received the King Charles III Coronation Medal for her dedication and contributions to safety in Canada.
Krista Cull meanwhile was awarded the Jennie Howie Government Member Award from the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators.
In addition to those external awards, Manager of Strategic Business Practices Sarah Burgess received a 2024 Public Service Award of Excellence from the province.
