‘Inside Out 2’ surpasses ‘Dune 2’ as the highest-grossing film of 2024

Sorry, Dune: Part Twothe reign of Paul Atreides is officially over. The new box office queen is… a temperamental teenager.

Inside Out 2 has cinched its position as the highest grossing film of 2024 so far. Only two weeks into its release, the Pixar sequel has managed to draw in a record-breaking crowd, earning an additional $100 million for a domestic total of $355 million, per Comscore. This puts the animated pic well above the $282.1 million domestic gross of Dune: Part Two

On a global scale, Inside Out 2 has earned a grand total of $724 million to counter the Dune sequel’s $711 million.
