How to watch Champions League Final for FREE as Madrid take on Dortmund
Football fans are in for a treat as the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will be available to watch for free.
Jude Bellingham is bidding to cap off an incredible debut season with Los Blancos by clinching the coveted European trophy at Wembley Stadium. Having already secured La Liga and contributed 23 goals and 12 assists in 41 matches, the England star will face his former club at football’s most famous stadium.
On the other hand, Edin Terzic’s team have the opportunity to banish their past disappointments, having lost their previous Champions League final at Wembley back in 2013. The best part – fans can witness all this drama unfold without spending a spenny.
This year, TNT Sports will air the match on Discovery+ instead of YouTube, reports the Mirror. Typically, viewing matches in European club competitions requires a subscription.
However, for the final taking place at Wembley on Saturday night at 8pm, fans can access live streams of the game on the Discovery+ app simply by registering for a free account. This method of broadcasting was also used for the Europa League and Europa Conference League finals.
Premium subscribers will have the privilege of accessing the full build-up of the final between the German and Spanish powerhouses. The final of the Champions League remains accessible for fans despite not being on the UK Government’s “crown jewel” list that necessitates broadcasting on free-to-air TV.

TNT Sports have maintained the tradition of sharing a live feed for European club competition finals since bagging broadcast acclamation in the 2014/15 season. In a shift from previous years when YouTube was the platform, this year’s free coverage migrates to Discovery+.
It also marks the end game of TNT’s existing contract with UEFA, making way for Amazon to join in the rights share from next season. Fans have been watching live matches during the competition through TNT Sport and Discovery+, while highlights have been found on the broadcaster’s YouTube channel.
ITV also presents its own late-night highlight package. This evening’s game could see Bellingham revving up for an explosive Euro 2024 ride as a La Liga and Champions League victor.
His electric displays for Carlo Ancelotti’s side have already pegged him as a potential Ballon d’Or claimer this term. An anticipated victory against the Bundesliga club would see the former Birmingham City midfielder becoming the first Englishman lifting the Champions League trophy for Real Madrid post-Steve McManaman.
However, Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho might have plans to stun the critics himself. After a rocky start to the season with Manchester United under Erik ten Hag, Sancho has since revitalised his campaign during his loan spell at Dortmund and is now poised to feature in one of the most significant matches in European football.
