High school roundup: Greater Lowell Tech headlines CAC all-star tennis team
Led by Greater Lowell Tech, a total of 16 area tennis players were named Commonwealth Athletic Conference all-stars.
The Gryphons placed nine players on the squad – senior Annabel Senechiame, senior Julio Kuchuminski, senior Avery Dube, senior Sydney Geoffroy, senior Norah Rondeau, freshman Abigail Honan, senior Luiggi Ferreira, junior Giovanni De Oliveira and senior Samuel Lucena.
Named to the team from Shawsheen Tech were senior Jasmine Johansen, senior Sarah Johansen, senior Ethan Hines, junior Faith Martin and junior Trevor Engel.
Nashoba Tech is represented on the team by freshman Riley Olsen and sophomore Khiana Ducharme.
CAC lacrosse
Shawsheen Tech’s Kyle Gray headlines the Commonwealth Athletic Conference’s boys lacrosse all-star team.
Gray was named the league’s MVP.
Gray was joined on the all-star team by Shawsheen teammates Chase Darcey, Eddie Peterson, Zack Timmons, Jack Martins and Jacoby Patterson.
Chosen from the Academy of Notre Dame were Chase Cameron, Nixon Eldridge, Ethan Brown and Logann Vigneault.
Lowell Catholic’s representatives are Dylan Eld, Braedyn Hiltz, Dante Gentile and Andrew Marcucci.
Greater Lowell Tech players named all-stars were Christian Melendez, Shaun McCluskey and Adam Theriault.
Making the squad from Nashoba Tech were Anthony Panetta and Danny Schrader.
