Meanwhile, B.C. Place will host what’s being hailed as the “largest licensed outdoor patio” at Terry Fox Plaza during long weekends this summer.

Here’s what you need to know.
Kitsilano Pool Concession
Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to dusk
Alcohol service: Friday to Sunday, 12 to 10 p.m.
Address: 2305 Cornwall Ave.
The patio, which has views of the mountains and downtown skyline across the water, will be open every weekend until the end of September, even though the Kitsilano Pool will remain closed this summer for repairs.
Launched as part of a summer pilot program, the patio will offer live music, beer, wine, cider, cocktails and other non-alcoholic options. While the patio is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to dusk, alcohol service is only on Friday to Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.
Food is also available, including fish and chips and salmon filet burgers, and guests can skip the concession line by ordering using the VanEats app online.
The Patio at B.C. Place
Hours: June 18 to July 1, 12 to 8 p.m.; Aug. 2 to 5; Aug. 30 to Sept. 2
Address: 855 Expo Blvd.
If you’re looking for more of a city vibe, check out The Patio at B.C. Place. The patio, which can hold up to 1,000 customers, is on the popular Terry Fox Plaza outside the stadium and is set to be a popular long weekend destination for those visiting downtown.
Visitors to the downtown patio will be able to enjoy local musical acts, lawn games, as well as food and drink. Five different stations will serve up dishes such as smoked brisket sandwich, bao bun sliders, and tempura maple gelato. Feeling crafty? There will be a build-your-own-Caesar bar as well.
