Here are the two best items to buy from Charlotte Tilbury, hands down

Here at Post Wanted, we’re fans of all things beauty, from sensitive skin-friendly cleansers to the best nude lipsticks. So, it comes at no surprised that we’re beyond obsessed with one of the best brands in the space: Charlotte Tilbury.

You’ve probably seen TV commercials and social media posts singing praises for its proprietary “Pillow Talk” shade range, the prized palette that’s flattering on a variety of skin tones. After reviewing nearly the entire brand — including Pillow Talk — we can assure you that there’s more to Queen Charlotte’s brand that’s worth the talk.

Shortly after Charlotte whipped out her dreamy makeup hades, she forayed into the skincare space. After unveiling the Magic Cream that reached the apex of cult-following status, TikTok creators and beauty aficionados began applying the lightweight, cosmetically elegant cream onto their skin before applying the rest of Charlotte Tilbury’s signature products.

Charlotte’s Magic Cream helps smooth, firm and plump all at once. Creamy to the touch but easily absorbent, it helps support the skin barrier as well. Though a splurge, it has made our skin radiant with each use, serving as a worth-it formulation that doubles nicely as a makeup primer.

Pros:

  • Helps make the skin texture more supple
  • Contains hyaluronic acid to help hydrate and nurture the skin
  • Incredible for dry skin and doubles as a makeup primer

Charlotte’s Magic Cream is packed with hyaluronic acid to help make your skin more supple. It’s also incredibly for dry skin and never leaves our skin parched. Not to mention, its gentle texture makes it apt for sensitive skin, too.

“Charlotte’s Magic Cream contains a magic matrix blend of ingredients including plump-effect peptides, brightening vitamin C and E, hydrating hyaluronic acid as well as Charlotte’s signature cushion and lift mesh technology – a blend of rosehip oil containing vitamin F and skin-cushioning emollients for softer-feeling skin,” Charlotte Tilbury exclusively told the New York Post. “Not only does it give you a healthy-looking, glowing complexion, but your skin is perfectly primed so that your makeup will always look more beautiful!”

While every skin is different, Charlotte Tilbury’s clinical trials note that you’ll likely see visible results in 28
seconds and over time in 28 days.

New York Post Commerce Editor, Camryn LaSala, is a huge fan of the Magic Cream as well.

“This product has completely changed my skin over the last two years. I love how it smells, feels and looks on my skin. I feel glowy and my complexion is always clear! Not to mention, it layers amazingly under makeup for a slightly dewy look,” LaSala said.

Pairing wonderfully prior to the Magic Cream is Charlotte’s Glow Toner ($55), infused with niacinamide. It serves as the gentle evening cleanser and makeup remover hybrid you need, as it’s excellent if you have large pores. Not to mention, we got all my family and friends hooked (and they love it, too).

And, once you’ve treated yourself to your daily dose of Charlotte Tilbury’s magically leaning skincare products, it’s then time to journey into Pillow Talk. Miraculously, the crowd-loved Pillow Talk Lip Cheat Lip Liner put lip liner, in general, on the map again. Its glide-on application and neutral color gives any size lips the drama and “pop” it deserves. Or, you can opt to press on lightly for a more muted effect.

With a lipstick to match, the Pillow Talk Lip Kit ($54) has been in our personal makeup collection for years now. We dub it the “dynamic duo” for a reason, and it looks beautiful on your pout whether heading out day or night.

However, this article is spotlighting two products in particular. Of course, we noted the Magic Cream that we’re obsessed with. The new Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Big Lip Plumpgasm Lip Gloss is the second must-buy product that we need to divert your full attention to.

Buildable and perfectly glossy, this product gives us the illusion that we have filler — without the needles and added beauty cost. It’s offered in two variations of the esteemed Pillow Talk shades, both of which we carry in our purses 24/7.

Pros:

  • The ideal glossy texture
  • Hydrates the lips without stinging
  • Noticeably makes the lips a bit more plump with consistent use

Cons:

  • May first apply a bit sheer, though not a dealbreaker

Pump, plump and pout. The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Big Lip Plumpgasm Lip Gloss is one of our go-to lip products with the girliest, on-brand packaging we’ve seen. And, like its Magic Cream, it contains hyaluronic acid to hydrate the lips — just like your tried-and-true skincare.

As a whole, Charlotte Tilbury knocks it out of the park with any of its products, though the Magic Cream and the Pillow Talk Big Lip Plumpgasm Lip Gloss are two items you should add to your cart ASAP. They’ll both last for quite some time and will leave a noticeable difference to your skin and lips — smoother and fuller — once you use them each consistently.
