Great Falls High youth boys’ basketball camp starts Monday

The camp is for boys entering grades 3-9 in the fall and runs from 9 a.m. to noon each day.

The fee is $75 per athlete which includes a camp t-shirt, awards and refreshments. Campers are asked to enter the gym on the south side of the fieldhouse.

The camp is ran by Bison head coach Bob Howard and his staff, as well as other coaches from the area and current Great Falls High players.

The camp will consist of:

•            Basic basketball fundamentals and footwork

•            Shooting: form and technique. Use of Dr Dish Shooting Machine

•            Position work: guards, posts, wings (includes position specific techniques/drills)

•            1/1; 3/3; 4/4/4 breakdowns and competitions

•            Emphasis on the importance of fundamentals, footwork, competition, playing hard and sportsmanship
