  • The Manitoba government is hiring a casual Afterhours Social Service Worker (4050) in Dauphin and Swan River, MB. Position is open until filled.  
  • The YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg is hiring a Camp Stephens Counsellor and Camp Stephens Assistant Counsellor for the summer. Positions open until filled. For more opportunities at the YMCA checkout their website!
  • The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are hiring a number of positions including Stadium Operations Seasonal Staff and Field Operations Technician. Join their Talent Portal to get notified of Jobs with Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Valour FC and IG Field.

  • Loblaws is hiring many positions in Winnipeg including a Bilingual Customer Service representative (R2000461819).
  • The Community Services Department is hiring part time Recreation Technicians (124156) for wading pools, recreation facilities, and preschool, children’s, and youth summer programs for Summer 2024.  Deadline is June 28.
  • The Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) has a variety of work opportunities, both part-time and full-time for students.  Full-Time/Co-op/Internships

  • The Government of Canada is hiring a Junior Program Officer at Indigenous Services Canada in Winnipeg. Deadline is June 19.
  • Mosaic is hiring for the Mining the Future Indigenous Students Program (52439) in Regina, SK. They are looking for students in the areas of engineering, trades, business administration and more, in various locations in Saskatchewan. Term is September 9 to December 20, 2024.
  • The Manitoba Government is seeking graduates with a science major for the Public Health Inspector- Student Bursary Program (42678) for various locations in Manitoba. Deadline is June 24. Note that a condition of employment is acceptance into the 15-month Concordia University of Edmonton’s Bachelor of Environmental Health (After Degree) program 2024/25.
  • The University of Manitoba is hiring a Receptionist – Office Assistant 4 (AESES) (32369) for a one-year term to start June 24. Deadline is June 6.
  • LevelUp is an opportunity for students to work on short-term remote projects, connect with future employers, and gain real-work experience within a supportive and thriving community of Canadian students over 60 hours and 8 weeks. Find out about more wage subsidy programs here.
  • The Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario is seeking 3 recent graduates interested in policy, and public sector work for a remote Research Internship position.
  • Does working in the natural resources sector interest you? Are you between the ages of 15 and 30? NRCan’s Science & Technology Internship Program (STIP)—Green Jobs supports youth in gaining work experience and skills through full time paid internships.   • Indigenous Services Canada is seeking a graduate for a full time CR04 position. They are looking for graduates with previous Government of Canada student experience (co-op, Federal Student Work Experience or Research Affiliate) who can use the bridging option. Career Fairs, Information Sessions and Conferences provide an excellent way for you to learn more about your field, to network and to find the opportunities available in it.  Employers attend career fairs and trade show booths to inform students of future opportunities as well as look for talented students/graduates for current positions. Check out these upcoming events!

  • The Advanced Digital and Professional Training (ADaPT) Program is a cost-free digital and professional skills development program that provides career coaching support and work placements for participants. They are now accepting applicants for their 2024 Alberta/BC cohort to take place between July 16 and September 22. There is an information session happening Thursday, May 30th at 12:00 PM MT and Thursday, June 13th at 12:00 PM MT. Manitoba students are welcome to apply, just note the time difference. Deadline to apply for the cohort is June 23.
  • The 107th Canadian Chemical Conference and Exhibition ** is happening June 2-6 in Winnipeg. Register today! 
  • Career Fair Canada is hosting a Winnipeg Career Fair and Training Expo at the RBC Convention Center on June 12. Exhibitors include the City of Winnipeg, the Government of Manitoba, Royal Canadian Navy, and many more. Registration is free.
  • Film Training Manitoba is hosting Cinematic Fundamentals with John Paizs, in partnership with the Winnipeg Film Group, a course for filmmakers, screenwriters, producers, editors, or anyone wanting to learn how a well cohesive film is planned and created. The session will take place June 1 from 10:00am-4:30pm at 304-345 McDermot Ave. Find out more information about Film Training Manitoba’s course offerings here.
  • Falling Walls Lab will be happening on September 11. It is a global pitch competition uniting students and professionals with breakthrough ideas. This event supports innovation and communication skills, promoting collaboration and sustainability. Academic institutions worldwide host these labs, allowing participants three minutes to present solutions to pressing challenges. Applications due July 15.
