Gas and diesel prices see a jump in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotians are waking up Friday morning to higher fuel prices in the province.

Overnight, the provincial regulator used its weekly adjustment to push the price of regular self serve gasoline up to 1.77 cents per litre — an increase of 2.1 cents.

Diesel also seeing an increase with those fuel prices going up 3.4 cents to 180.7 cents per litre.

Those prices are up quite a bit from this time, one year ago when we were paying 1.49 for gas and 1.38 for diesel.
