Springfield Public Schools has confirmed the unexpected death of Glendale student athlete Amare Witham. In a statement sent by Springfield Public Schools they expressed sympathy for the loss, saying, “We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family, friends, teachers and all those who knew and loved him.” Amare Witham played basketball for the Glendale Falcons and had multiple offers from D1 schools, including Missouri State University.
