EPIC POET (3.10 York, nap)
He ran a cracker when second in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot last time and he’s back from the same mark. He ran well over course and distance in May and will be right there again.
INISHERIN (4.35 Newmarket, nb)
He ran away with the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot last time on the back of an easy success in the Sandy Lane at Haydock. Sprinting is clearly his game and there’s more to come.
LOU LOU’S GIFT (2.12 Newmarket, treble)
She had plenty up her sleeve when scoring over course and distance last time out. William Haggas’s horses continue in excellent form and she can take another step forward.

Trainer William Haggas continues in top form and there’s more to come from this son of Sea The Stars on just his sixth run.
Ron O is in the form of his life and landed a cosy win here last time. That was over 1m2f but he has plenty of pace and he likes a little cut in the ground. He looks a big price to make the frame.
Blue For You’s last win was this race 12 months ago and he’s back from 4lb lower. His recent form has been modest but he’s been aimed at this race.
Telemark stepped up to score at Thirsk 27 days ago despite not getting the run of the race. He shapes as though this extra furlong will suit.
More rain would help Rhoscolyn who enjoyed it soft when scoring at Epsom two starts ago.
La Trinidad won this in 2021 and is another to note after a good effort at Redcar.

STARLUST was the comfortable winner of a hot handicap over course and distance two runs ago before he held his own in the Group 1 Coronation Cup at Royal Ascot.
He will enjoy this drop back to the minimum trip and acts on any ground. A repeat of his last Knavesmire effort would be good enough.
Clarendon House took Listed honours at Cork over this trip last month and looks the main threat.
He is another who scored the last time he tackled this trip and track in May and has lots of pace.
We haven’t seen the best of Rogue Lightning this season but he takes a fair drop in class here after running at Group level. He is proven in this grade and should be in the picture.
Democracy Dilemma didn’t fire at Haydock last time but has some smart handicap form and has place prospects if able to bring his best form.
Emaraaty Ana wasn’t disgraced in the Group 1 King Charles III at Royal Ascot and has winning form here. She wouldn’t want much more rain but is another who could hit the places on her best form.

KLONDIKE and Salt Bay had a right ding-dong here last month and the William Haggas runner can come out on top again.
There was only a short-head between them and it will be tight again with both horses looking progressive.
Al Qareem is as gutsy as they come and he’ll be hard to peg back as he goes from the front. The slight worry for him is the trip as he seemed to run out of juice in the Yorkshire Cup here in May.
Alaskib went close in a hot handicap at Royal Ascot where he saw out this distance nicely. He goes on any ground and looks a fair each-way price.
Chesspiece has been poor on both starts this season but was a winner here last year and it would be no shock to see him bounce back.
Tashkhan was third in a Longchamp Group 1 last season so has class and needed his comeback run last time.

LOU LOU’S GIFT was impressive when storming to victory over course and distance last time.
She quickly left her rivals behind in just her second handicap and can progress further for William Haggas.
Similar comments apply to Miss Bodacious who hit the line hard when striking here over six furlongs three Saturdays ago.
This longer trip should hold no fears and even a 9lb rise in the handicap seems fair enough on the back of that effort.
Arisaig got no luck in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot when marooned on the wrong side of the track. She can get closer under Neil Callan.
Key To Cotai won on the Rowley course here in May and went close in a Carlisle Listed contest last time. He goes on any ground and has solid place prospects.
The King has a squeak with Hard To Resist who looked rusty at Royal Ascot. She won over course and distance last season and Ryan Moore is a good booking.
Heritage House wasn’t beaten far at Carlisle latest but needs a bit more.

QIRAT didn’t settle under Hector Crouch when a still decent sixth in the Britannia at Royal Ascot last time and has the benefit of Ryan Moore in the saddle today.
He was impressive when scoring at Goodwood two starts ago and something like that form would take him close.
Volterra went off too quick in that Britannia and is better judged on his excellent victory here in May. This trip is ideal and he’s capable of better.
Liveandletlive is looking for a hat-trick after winning at Nottingham and Haydock. He likes this mile and comes from an in-form training team.
Arabic Legend came back to his best when just denied at The Curragh 13 days ago. He has winning form here and can make his presence felt.
At a big price, Watcha Matey ran well in the Britannia and won his first two starts of the season. He likes this trip and could hit the frame.

COLUMNIST almost pulled off a 50-1 shock when beaten by a head in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He was in front for a long way there and was just collared. He can step up again under James Doyle on just his third run.
Ancient Truth looks a nice prospect for Charlie Appleby who has won four of the past eight runnings of this race. He has won both his starts at Newmarket and is dangerous on this step up in grade.
The Parthenon wasn’t beaten far in a Curragh Group 3 on debut and overcame missing the break to win easily enough at Gowran latest.
This is a fair hike in class but Aidan O’Brien horses often need a couple of runs to get going and this son of Kingman has more to come.
Pentle Bay battled to win on debut at Leicester before leaving that form behind when second in the Chesham Stakes at Ascot last time. He is proven over this trip and has solid place claims.
Seagulls Eleven showed decent pace to score at Haydock but will need to find more in this stronger company.

GORAK was beaten a short-head by Carrytheone when they met here in May and there won’t be a lot between them again.
Charlie Fellowes’ hopeful didn’t get much luck in running in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Newmarket last time and will be much happier here. He looks a cracking price to make the frame at least.
Ryan Moore takes over on Carrytheone who should really have won that Buckingham Palace Stakes.
He had to wait for a gap and the first two had flown before he could hit top gear. He’s off the same mark here and can go close.
Divine Libra was a just a nose behind Gorak in that Newmarket race and he then tried to weave his way through the field when sixth in the Buckingham Palace.
He is another with every chance under William Buick. Awaal has run just three times since his third in this race 12 months ago.
He’s been off nine months but goes well fresh and is lower in the weights for this repeat bid.
Aalto did well to finish a close second at Haydock last time after being up with a breakneck pace. He is best over this trip and ran a good race on his last visit to Newmarket.
Ropey Guest was second in this 12 months ago and ran well for a long way in Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot last time. It wouldn’t be a shock to see him in the places again.
Dark Thirty started this season with a win on the Rowley course in April. He hasn’t quite matched that form since but is capable of bouncing back.

DREAM COMPOSER does best in a big field with a fast pace as he showed when winning the Dash at Epsom last month.
He’s a fair 4lb higher now and has tasted success over this course and distance. Tom Marquand is a good booking and he should go close.
King’s Lynn may not be the force he was but he was second in hot company at Newmarket last time and has each-way prospects again.
Brave Nation got up on the line at Doncaster latest and will be dangerous again for trainer Michael Bell who is in decent form. He has shown his best over this distance.
Fair Wind tried to come from a long way back when fourth at Thirsk latest. He earlier dug deep to score at Goodwood and should be thereabouts again.
Existent came back from a long break to finish second at Sandown latest. He’ll have to raise his game again but could show more with that under his belt.
Albasheer has come down the weights and will be happy returning to this trip. His best form would see him in the places.
Get It has won his past two well over six furlongs but has some sharp form over this trip too.

QUDDWAH looks hard to beat after an impressive Listed success here last time out.
He’s had a break since that May effort but likes this trip and has scope for lots of improvement with just three runs under his belt.
Sonny Liston is a familiar name in hot handicaps and he was just a neck away when second in the Royal Hunt Cup here last time.
This is his first move into Group company for two years and he’ll go close although quicker ground would be ideal.
Embesto was a Group 3 winner at Salisbury last season but has not really matched that form since. He didn’t enjoy tricky Epsom last time and will be better suited by this track.
Royal Dubai was second in the Diomed last time and did well at Meydan earlier this year. He needs more to figure at this level but it wouldn’t be a shock to see him make the frame.
Bolster has been running well over 1m2f and may lack a little pace for this.
