Former Alabama and Auburn players named to USA Basketball Men’s Select Team

(WHNT) — The Alabama and Auburn basketball programs are both being represented on the 2024 USA Basketball Men’s Select Team.

Former Alabama All-American and current player for the Charlotte Hornets Brandon Miller has been named to the select team. Joining Miller is former Auburn All-American and current player for the Houston Rockets Jabari Smith Jr.

Miller and Smith are two of 15 athletes to be named to the 2024 USA Basketball Men’s Select Team that will train with the USA Basketball Men’s National Team as it prepares for the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France.

The team will train in Las Vegas from July 5-8 ahead of the 2024 Olympics.
