A former AEW star has made his surprise debut in WWE as it was revealed that he had been behind mysterious attacks over the last two weeks.

To end tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, Trick Williams and his tag partner tonight Je’Von Evans were celebrating their victory over Gallus in the ring but were interrupted.

Lash Legend came to the ring and demanded answers as she accused Trick Williams of being behind the recent attacks against members of Meta-Four.

With Noam Dar having been mysteriously attacked previously, and tonight Oro Mensah as well, Legend questioned if it was her boyfriend Trick behind the attacks.

However, a mystery man appeared and immediately smashed Trick Williams from behind, knocking down Lash Legend in the process.

The mysterious figure was revealed to be recently departed AEW star ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page.

He went on to beat down Trick Williams and stand tall holding the NXT Championship as he made his intention in NXT very clear.

Ethan Page was in AEW from February 2021 to May 2024 after previously working for IMPACT Wrestling in the years prior. His last match on AEW television came in December 2023 against Kenny Omega.

It was the second major surprise on NXT tonight after TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace appeared, and will challenge Roxanne Perez at Battleground.
