A new study from relocation site My Baggage ranks states best for golf based on courses, tournaments, coaches, and more. And you guessed it ― Florida was crowned number one.

What makes Florida the best place to golf?

According to the study, Florida has over 1,100 golf courses ― more than any other state. It also outranks all other states in number of available PGA coaches with 329.

The Sunshine State also has 12 clubs listed in the Platinum Clubs of America, which is more than any other state. The Platinum Clubs of America are considered the most respected and excellent in the country.

Florida has 96 upcoming golf tournaments and 437 driving ranges to practice on.

What other states were ranked in the top 10?
