Today, the first Express Entry draw of 2024 targeting 10 trade occupations sent out 1,800 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency.
All the Express Entry profiles with a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 436 or more and at least six months of experience in one of the 10 trade occupations received the ITAs in this trade draw.

What are the eligibility criteria for the Canadian Experience Class under the Express Entry System?
The Canadian Experience Class is a permanent residency pathway for individuals who have already gained Canadian skilled work experience.
The key eligibility criteria for the CEC include:
Work Experience: At least one year of skilled work experience (TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) in Canada in the last three years.
Language Proficiency: Minimum CLB level 7 for TEER 0 or 1 occupations, and CLB level 5 for TEER 2 OR 3 jobs.
Education: There is no specific education requirement for the CEC, but a Canadian degree, diploma, or certificate can help improve the CRS score.
