An early morning house fire has claimed the life of one victim in Cramahe Sunday morning.
Firefighters from Cramahe Fire responded to a call at 3:40am, to a house on Blyth Park Road east of Colbourne, and found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Brighton firefighters were called in to assist.
One man was later found deceased in the bedroom, his wife escaped the fire safely.
Cramahe fire, the fire marshal, and OPP are investigating. The fire is believed to have started in the garage and spread to the house.
Damages are estimated at close to one million dollars.
