The EPS major collision investigations section has since taken over the investigation. Remnants of the bicycle littered the scene around 9 a.m., and a sheet was laid on the road as traffic reconstruction officers continued to investigate.

Police said investigators are searching for the driver of a blue 2014-2018 Mazda 3 sedan or hatchback that sustained damage to the front end and driver’s side as a result of the collision.

Investigators are asking anyone driving through the Mill Woods area who may have dash camera footage of the collision to contact police at 780-423-4567. Anonymous information can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
