KING OF THE JUNGLE (2.30 Carlisle, nap)

The Mick and David Easterby runner hit the post at Beverley last time, going down by less than a length under his inexperienced rider. Stable jockey Joanna Mason gets on board today and she can make the difference. This five-furlong trip with some cut in the ground is ideal and he is only 2lb higher than when scoring in the mud at Catterick earlier this season.

MASTER BUILDER (6.30 Windsor, nb)

He went close on debut here in April before getting off the mark with a battling success at Salisbury last time. Both those efforts were over this trip and trainer David Menuisier continues to churn out the winners. He has an especially good record when teaming up with today’s pilot Oisin Murphy – who is desperate to win his title back – and this looks very winnable.

STOCKPYLE (2.48 Chepstow, treble)

He has been in fine form on the all-weather and can translate that form back to turf. He had plenty in hand when scoring at Kempton last time and has gone well on soft ground before.

BAMA LAMA (4.18 Chepstow, Lucky 15)

She won a similar contest to this over course and distance last week. A 3lb rise for that smooth success gives her every chance of following up for Rod Millman.
