Ethan Page debuts, attacks Trick Williams on WWE NXT
Ethan Page has made his NXT debut.
After Trick Williams & Je’Von Evans defeated Gallus, Lash Legend entered the ring and asked Williams if he was behind the recent attacks on Noam Dar and Oro Mensah. Williams started to answer when the lights went out. When they came back on, Page jumped Williams from behind, crashing into Legend as she was sent to the floor. Page took a microphone and admitted to the attacks before laying out Williams with a running knee to the corner.
Earlier this month, Fightful Select reported that Page was no longer under AEW contract after his profile was removed from their website. He had been mostly used on ROH television in recent months. Fightful’s report said that Page had been looking to leave the company since February, which is also when he had his last match on ROH. His last AEW match was a loss to Kenny Omega in December 2023.
After Dar was attacked two weeks ago, Jakara Jackson and Oro Mensah felt that Williams was responsible. Legend said he wasn’t, but told Jackson she would talk to Williams after Mensah was attacked backstage on Tuesday’s show.
