ESPN ranks all 32 NFL rosters (including Titans) ahead of 2024 season

ESPN’s Mike Clay, Aaron Schatz, and Seth Walder teamed up to rank all 32 NFL rosters (including the Tennessee Titans’) from best to worst ahead of the 2024 season.

When it comes to the Titans, the trio of ESPN analysts were fans of what the team did at wide receiver but rightly questioned Tennessee’s linebackers group, and more specifically, their off-ball linebacker.

“Azeez Al-Shaair (who led the team in defensive snaps last season) departed for Houston during the offseason, so Tennessee signed Kenneth Murray Jr. — a former first-round pick who didn’t work out for the Chargers — as a replacement,” Clay wrote. “That’s a downgrade and the depth behind him doesn’t move the needle much. Former UDFA Jack Gibbens was a serviceable running mate for Al-Shaair last season and the team will need some production from fourth-round rookie Cedric Gray.

The Titans do have some intriguing options behind Murray and Gibbens in Gray and Otis Reese, but both are unproven and there’s no telling what they’ll be able to contribute, especially when it comes to coverage.

The idea of the Titans moving recently signed safety Jamal Adams to linebacker has been floating around, but he’s no great shakes in coverage, either.

Now, here’s a look at where the ESPN experts put the Titans in their rankings of all 32 NFL rosters.
