EA College Football 25 Schedule Set for Roster Reveal, Ultimate Team, Gameplay, More

EA Sports announced Sunday that several reveals are planned this week for the upcoming College Football 25 video game.

In anticipation of the game’s launch, EA will show off a gameplay first look on Monday, followed by the College Ultimate Team reveal on Tuesday, the launch roster reveal on Wednesday and the Road to Glory mode reveal on Thursday.

EA Sports College Football 25 is set to release for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on July 19, although those who pre-ordered can enjoy early access starting July 16.

College Football 25 marks the first time there has been a college football video game since EA released NCAA Football 14 in 2013.

Lawsuits related to the use of college athletes’ names, images and likenesses without compensation resulted in the college football video game franchise going dormant for over a decade.

However, when new NIL rules went into effect in 2021 due to a Supreme Court ruling, it opened the door for the beloved video game series to return.

Now, for the first time ever, the real names of college football players will be included in College Football 25 for those who opted into the game, and they are being compensated as well.

College Football 25 is arguably the most highly anticipated sports video game in many years, so college football fans and gamers alike have been hanging on EA’s every move.

Thus far, EA Sports has already revealed deep dives into gameplay, sights and sounds and the all-important dynasty mode:

The vast majority of what has been shown has been praised by fans and content creators, and if that continues, then this week’s reveals will create even more hype behind the game.

There will likely be plenty of interest surrounding the roster reveal this week due to the inclusion of real players, plus Road to Glory figures to get gamers talking.

Road to Glory was among the most popular modes in past college football video games since it allowed for the creation and development of a single player.

However, unlike in the past, Road to Glory in College Football 25 will not begin in the high school ranks, so there is at least some skepticism regarding whether the mode will be as good as it once was.

EA Sports will have a chance to put some of those concerns to rest this week, as well as the opportunity to convince those who are on the fence to purchase the game.
