Drew McIntyre Questions How Jey Uso Got Across The Border, Says Carmelo Hayes Isn’t ‘Him’

Drew McIntyre took some shots at his competitors in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

On the July 5 episode of WWE SmackDown, Jey Uso kicked off the show and hyped up the Money in the Bank match. He was then interrupted by LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, and Drew McIntyre. The superstars all briefly discussed the Money in the Bank match. McIntyre mocked Hayes by saying that he was not “him”, but he was instead looking up at him.

The former world champion took things to another level by questioning how Jey Uso made it across the border.

The confrontation ultimately broke down into a brawl, and Jey Uso and LA Knight stood tall.

McIntyre’s comment was seemingly referring to Jey Uso’s previous arrest for DWI in 2018. Due to the charges, he had been barred from entering Canada, though he and Jimmy Uso, who also has been arrested for DUI, appeared at Elimination Chamber 2023.

WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE SmackDown as it airs on July 6.
