Be it Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice, Katrina Kaif or Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, fans have dug through archives to find celebrity doppelgangers. Legendary Tennis player Roger Federer has an uncanny lookalike in Bollywood. Fans of these celebs have noticed the similarities between actor and producer Arbaaz Khan and the tennis player.

On July 13, the official Instagram account of the OTT platform Prime Video shared a clip of Roger reacting to the ‘doppelganger situation’. This clip is a part of Roger Federer’s documentary Federer: Twelve Final Days which follows the player’s final days before his retirement.

In the clip, the Swiss player said, “So funny enough. Social media is a wild place and I come across a lot of things and I’ve seen actually a picture of me and Arbaaz Khan. You know, the lookalike, doppelganger situation. So people on social media how they find these things and meld them together and they pop up time and again. So good to see and hope to meet him one day.”

Netizens react to Roger and Arbaaz’s similarities

After this went viral, netizens were left in awe of the resemblance that the personalities share. “I had the same thought the first time I saw Federer! Been a fan since then and today RF is the definition of tennis for me,” read an Instagram comment.

“Wow!!! we got roger federer talking about and acknowledging Arbaaz khan before GTA 6!!!,” read another comment.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times in 2019, the actor addressed the resemblance and said, “I’m aware of this similarity that is being drawn. Not sure if he is aware, too. But, but I’d love to meet him in person. I’m a huge Federer fan. I’ve come to know that he has a house in Dubai and when he plays the Dubai Open, he stays there. I plan to try and meet him during that time.” In 2023, Arbaaz Khan played the role of a tennis player in an advertisement. Following the ad, the internet has had a shocking reaction to the stark similarities.
