DK Horse Acorn Picks: Top Horse Racing Betting Picks for the DK Horse Acorn on DK Horse

It’s a colossal weekend for racing at Saratoga, filled with multiple graded races on both Friday and Saturday. The DK Horse Acorn takes center stage on Friday with nine talented fillies (six of which ran in the Kentucky Oaks) competing for a purse of $500,000.

Thorpedo Anna, the easy winner of the Oaks, has been inserted as the 8 to 5 Morning Line favorite and will presumably be shorter odds by post time. She deserves that favoritism dictated by winning four of five starts, with the only blemish a second-place finish, and it’s apparent she’s getting better.

There are others in this field who are also improving and one I believe is being overlooked is My Mane Squeeze. At first glance, it appears that maybe the 1 1/8 miles required for the Acorn is too far of a distance because of her poor performance in the Fantasy Stakes back in March. I’m chalking that up to just a bad day as she was just never involved in the race.
