Dartmouth shooting: Police looking to identify suspect
Halifax Regional Police are hoping the public can help identify a suspect from a shooting that happened earlier this week.
At about 6:40 a.m. on June 3, police responded to a shooting in the area of the 100 block of Colford Avenue. Officers found a man who had been shot. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect fired multiple shots at the victim who was waiting at a bus stop in the area. The suspect then left the scene on a motorcycle and police believe he was in the area of the MacKay Bridge shortly after the incident.
The person officials are looking for is described as a man wearing a black jacket over a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark-coloured jeans and sneakers with a black helmet. He was riding a blue and grey sport-style motorcycle.
