Dallas Mavericks vs Boston Celtics Prediction
The Mavericks are down 0-2 in this series, because everybody outside of Luka has taken the first two games off. Kyrie has been passive, PJ Washington has regressed, Jones Jr. air balled a wide open three, and you can go down the line. At home, where the Mavs are 30-19 SU, you’d assume the cast around Luka will be more comfortable and play at a higher level. The injury to Kristaps Porzingis also opens the door for the Mavericks, as the Celtics’ offense hasn’t been as good without him on the floor, and it does take away some of their spacing.
Bottom line is this is a must win game if the Mavericks are going to make this a series. At home and likely no KP, there are no excuses for the Mavericks. Get Kyrie to play like Kyrie, and the Mavs inch back into this series with a nice game 3 victory. I’ll lay the bucket with the home team.
