CUSA sets 10 kickoff times, tv assignments for Flames football

One year after a run to a conference title and the Fiesta Bowl, Liberty will half a handful of games each on ESPN networks and the CBS Sports Network, the Conference USA announced this week.

In conjunction with its television partners, the CUSA announced the kickoff times and network assignments of ten Flames football games this season. Liberty will play at least five of its games on various ESPN platforms, while another five will be on the CBS Sports Network, including all three of their midweek games this season.

The Flames’ season opener at Williams Stadium against Campbell was given a 6 p.m. kickoff on Aug. 31 on ESPN+, the league announced. They will also appear on ESPN 2, ESPN Network and have one game subject to a 12-day selection window on ESPN platforms.

The only two games on Liberty’s schedule without a kickoff time or network assignments are its road games at Appalachian State on Sept. 28 and at UMass on Nov. 16.
