Catamount Tennis Signs Zoe Lui to 2024-25 Roster – Western Carolina University

Cullowhee, N.C. – The Western Carolina women’s tennis team and head coach Bret Beaver is bringing in some reinforcements for the 2024-25 roster. Beaver announced the addition of four-star recruit Hokualohi “Zoe” Lui to the 2024-25 roster.   

Ranked as the 144th recruit nationally – and top recruit out of Arizona according to TennisRecruiting.net – Lui posted an overall record of 27-15, including a 5-3 record against 5-star opponents and a 7-4 record against her fellow four-stars. 

“We are very excited to have Zoe join our team this coming season. We were very patient with having one position on the team available, and I believe we found the perfect fit in Zoe,” said head coach Bret Beaver. “She will be a valuable addition on the court, in the locker room and in the classroom.” 

A native of Lynnwood, Wash., Lui was named her class valedictorian and graduated with a 4.0. She plans to pursue finance and marketing academically while in Cullowhee. 

Lui joins a Catamount squad returning the entirety of the 2023-24 lineup which set a program record 8-match win streak during January and February.
