Calgary case to be featured on Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries

It’s been nine years since Lee Antoni discovered his wife Amanda’s body inside her Castleridge home.

“I miss everything about her, her laugh, her energy.” he said.

Police originally deemed the death suspicious but later said that Amanda died by falling down the stairs.

“I didn’t believe it. Not for a second. Not after what I saw,” he said

Antoni was out of town visiting his mother in Saskatchewan when her death was believed to have occurred.

To this day there have been no suspects in her death.

In a desperate search for answers, Amanda’s family took to Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries for help.

The family began shooting for series last May.

Darrell Hogg is Amanda’s older brother. He hopes that by going public with Amanda’s story will help drum up some more leads into what happened.

“There are a lot of things that don’t make sense or that we don’t have answers for, and what we are really hoping for is for people to watch it especially in the Calgary area because this is a story about something that happened in Calgary,” he said .

The Calgary Police Service released this statement on Amanda’s death.

“While we are unable to comment on specific details until the Unsolved Mysteries episode has been released, we remain committed to seeking answers and the pursuit of justice for all Calgarians,”

Amanda’s story will be one of five episodes featured on volume 4 of Unsolved Mysteries. The episode will be available on Netflix starting July 31.
