Bronny James and Steph Curry could end up on the same team and put LeBron in tough position
Despite being expected to be a late-2nd round pick, or even possibly going undrafted, Bronny James is the top name in this NBA Draft. Everyone is expecting the Los Angeles Lakers to find a way to secure his services in order to pair him with his father, LeBron.
Although that seems like a sure thing, the Phoenix Suns have also emerged as a potential destination. Bronny has only done workouts with the Lakers and Suns so far in the pre-draft process. But now, a third team from the Western Conference could be joining the race.
Golden State Warriors draft Bronny James in mock draft
In ESPN’s most recent mock draft, James gets drafted 52nd overall by the Golden State Warriors.
That seems about James’ range. That Warriors pick would be three selections right before the Lakers pick in the second round at 55th overall.
Golden State would be a great spot for Bronny to start his NBA career. He wouldn’t be playing with his father, but he would get to learn from championship-winning veterans like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
