Braun Strowman Wants WWE Match Against NFL Megastar

Braun Strowman wants to see a certain NFL star get these hands!

After being sidelined for over a year due to neck issues that required surgery, Strowman made his return to Raw in Kansas City during the Draft episode. Sat in the front row was Kansas City Chief’s quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who stared down Strowman before both men were separated.

Speaking about the night of his return with Steve Fall of Ten Count Media, Strowman stated that a lot of fans online were hoping that things got physical between The Monster Among Men and the Super Bowl winner, but noted that a financial agreement to make the match official is unlikely:

“I sure will tell you one thing. Social Media, the response on that, it sure sounds like everybody wants me to whoop his a**. So, I mean, if we can set it up… I… It’s probably going to be hard to get some ink on paper with what KC’s paying and what WWE’s paying. But if we get enough fans behind it with their money paying, we might be able to make it happen. I don’t know. It’d be really cool. The interaction was really cool.”

Strowman continued, adding that he was surprised at Mahomes’ height and would happily take on the whole offensive line of the Chiefs if it was required:

“I really thought Mahomes would be a little bit bigger than that, and his boys he brought with him too. I mean, they’re big boys but I mean, when you are standing next to the Monster of All Monsters… That’s what I told him. I was like, ‘Look, if you are going to bucket me, you better bring the whole offensive line. Because these two boys ain’t going to do it for you right now my man…’

“Like I said, I got no problem stepping in the ring with the best of the best in WWE. I’ll step in the best of the best with the NFL. I’ve stepped in the best of the best in Boxing, best of the best in the World’s Strongest Man. It’s just a… Just what I do,”

Recalling his own experiences that day, Patrick Mahomes stated that he wanted to get inside a WWE ring, which led to a response from Triple H.

No stranger to celebrity matches, the former World Champion has previously thrown Colin Jost and Michael Che out of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35 and lost to boxer Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel 2019.

Braun Strowman Confirms Upcoming Project

Missing a year of action due to injury, Strowman has had a lot of downtime to reassess and work on some outside projects. Shortly after his return, Braun Strowman confirmed that he was working on something big and couldn’t wait to share it with the fans.
