Bear Hills Casino and Travel Resort Grand Opening Shines in Maskwacis

The Bear Hills Casino and Travel Resort is hosting their Grand Opening today in Maskwacis at 3:30 PM.

 

With the newly built Casino and Travel Resort that is run and operated by Louis Bull Tribe, the new facility will staff 80 local community members from the Louis Bull Tribe and Maskwacis inside the 30,000 square foot space that features 200 slot machines, 10 table games, a lounge and live entertainment space.

 

 

Erika Bull-Giroux, executive director of Bear Hills Casino Society says attendees are going to see a unique design and a feel of comfort from the newly built Bear Hills Casino.

Giroux goes on to say that it’s a very emotional time standing inside a completed project within the Bear Hills Casino and Travel Resort.

Giroux adds that she wants attendees to feel welcomed and comfortable when coming into Bear Hills Casino, and to experience the lounge and entertainment section of the facility.

Giroux says that throughout the hiring process, 51 percent of the new hires are from the Maskwacis and Louis Bull Tribe area, along with passing their original goal of  44 percent, calling a proud moment that community members are excited to help open the doors to the newly built Bear Hills Casino and Travel Resort.
