Bath best bet: Snooze Lane hoping to catch market leaders napping

20:30 Bath: AK Bets Chat to a Trader Handicap  (1¼ miles)

The early market has this pegged as a two horse race between Baroque Buoy and Battle Of Omdurman, but with both carrying odds as low as 6/4, the bookies really aren’t giving anything away.

If it’s a toss-up between those two, then such prices are easy to swerve, and the best value is probably found in finding the occupier of the third each-way place, or even better if either or both of the two principals falter (it can happen!).

Tidal Storm might be worth an outsider punt after making the frame in a couple of recent efforts at this venue, but the each-way money of some of Tipstrr pundits is going on Snooze Lane.

Suggested best bet: Snooze Lane in the 20:30 at Bath

Richard Kingscote was unable to get the best out of him on his only turf effort so far, but although he was sixth of nine in that Nottingham outing 19 days, he finished within three lengths of the winning favourite.

His usual all-weather jockey Joshua Bryan reunites here, and after suffering four straight runner-up spots in his last four rides over the weekend, he would probably be happy to force his way into a similar position here.
