OCEAN TOWNSHIP – Bang Cookies, the organic cookie sensation, will open a store on Route 35 in Ocean Township, its first cookie shop at the Jersey Shore.

A sign that reads, “Coming Soon Bang Cookies,” has gone up above a 1,500-square-foot storefront at Ocean Commons, a new shopping center at the corner of Route 35 and Deal Road. A representative of Bang Cookies could not be reached for comment on Thursday regarding a potential opening date.

Founded in 2016 by owner George Kuan, Bang Cookies has grown from a farmer’s market stand and now has six locations, with two in Jersey City and others at Menlo Park Mall in Edison, Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport, American Dream in East Rutherford and in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. It is now franchising.
