Babinsa And Bhabinkamtibmas Are Given The Authority To Close Online Top Up Game Transaction Services

JAKARTA – The Online Judi Eradication Task Force will provide special training to Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas, which are the spearheads of eradicating online gambling.

It is hoped that in the future Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas can close online game top up transaction services affiliated with online gambling.

This was conveyed by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto after holding a inaugural ministerial level coordination meeting on eradicating online gambling at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Office, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, June 19.

“Some of the things they can do, namely anticipating the practice of buying and selling accounts for online gambling purposes and closing online game top up transaction services affiliated with online gambling,” he said.

Related to this, Hadi emphasized that the task force will provide training to Babinsa and Babinkamtibmas to find out about this mode. Training is also provided so that they know how to take action against online gambling.

According to Hadi, his party will further deploy the ranks of the task force, Babinsa members, and Bhabinkamtibmas in the region to eradicate online gambling activities.

He considered that the roles of Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas were very important because they could easily touch people in every region.

At the same time, the task force will take broad action by investigating the flow of money in the account of online gambling money collectors.

Previously, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto revealed the latest facts regarding the online gambling case that had entered the TNI-Polri.

Hadi said the TNI-Polri leadership already knew who its members were involved in online gambling. In fact, the data is already in the hands of the leadership.

“The TNI and Polri leaders already know the data of anyone who plays online gambling,” he said.

Hadi ensured that the officers involved in online gambling (online) were not included in the Online Gambling Task Force.

“Not all members of the TNI and Polri participate in online gambling, of course they are not involved,” he said.

Regarding individuals who play online gambling, Hadi hopes that agency leaders can take firm action against their members who are involved in the activities of the vicious circle.
