Australia leaves out Pat Cummins as Oman wins toss: T20 World Cup LIVE

Australia faces an unfamiliar opponent in Oman for its opening match of the T20 World Cup in the West Indies and United States.

Led by Mitchell Marsh, the Australians will be hoping to win back the trophy they previously lifted in 2021, taking on Oman, England, Scotland and Namibia during the group stage.

Oman captain Aqib Ilyas has won the toss and elected to bowl first at Kensington Oval, with Australia leaving Test captain Pat Cummins on the sidelines in favour of Nathan Ellis.
