ATP Halle Quarterfinal Predictions

Christopher Eubanks vs Zhizhen Zhang

Head to head – First Meeting

This is going to be an interesting match as both are surprise entrants to the last eight. Zhizhen Zhang took out the third seed Daniil Medvedev in a third set tiebreaker which should give him a lot of confidence. He takes on the mercurial Christopher Eubanks who is a solid player on grass. Expect a pretty even contest but Eubanks’ serve should prove to be the decisive factor here.
Prediction: Eubanks in 3

Hubert Hurkacz vs Marcos Giron

Head to head – Hurkacz 1-0 Giron

Hubert Hurkacz will be eager to progress further here before his most successful slam of the year. Th Pole has looked at his. near best and he now faces Marcos Giron who did the Pole a huge favor by knocking out the in form Matteo Berrettini. The American is playing great tennis but Hurkacz is adept at the next and expect that to frustrate Giron.

Arthur Fils vs Alexander Zverev

Head to head – Fils 0-1 Zverev

Alexander Zverev will be pleased with how he has recovered post the heartbreaking loss at French Open. The home favorite looks in prime position to reach at least the finals here as well. He locks horns with Arthur Fils who has had a decent week but there is a gap in baseline stroke play between the two which was evident in their lone previous meeting as well. Expect Zverev to progress here.
Prediction: Zverev in 2

Jannik Sinner vs Jan-Lennard Struff

Head to head – Sinner 2-0 Struff

What a mouth watering clash this is going to be. Jannik Sinner is the new world no. 1 and the man of the moment in world tennis but it is not going to be easy for him to beat Jan-Lennard Struff who seems to be on a roll this week. The German was at his best when he took out on Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets. He will no doubt receive home support and that may well have a say. Sinner has looked in decent touch but Struff is a tough nut to crack and he may well just nab the win here.
Prediction: Struff in 3
