Armstrong MetalFest returns next weekend for two days of shows and camping.
The event at Hassen Arena will begin July 12 and continue through July 13, bringing more than two-dozen bands together in the farming community of Armstrong.
“This 14th annual gathering of metalheads will once again witness a pilgrimage of extreme metal music fans for two days of unforgettable moshing, headbanging, and camping,” wrote organizers in a press release.
“The 2024 lineup is set to showcase the best of diverse metal genres, ensuring an electrifying experience for all.”
Local bands from Kamloops, Kelowna, Armstrong and Vancouver are on the list this year. The event will be headlined by Decrepit Birth and The Browning, from America.
