Kanpur: Dev Dubey’s fine performance with bat and ball helped Anandeshwar Polypack beat DKG mobile XI by 8 wickets and sailed into the semifinal of JNT Under – 12 Cricket tournament for Sigma Griplock trophy being played here Kanpur South A ground on Friday evening. DKG Mobile after being invited to bat posted a total of 130 runs in 25 overs. Harsh Wardhan and Arpit Rai gave a bright start to their team adding 54 runs for the opening wicket. Both batsmen scored 24 runs each. Dev Dubey and Hamza Khan captured 3 and 2 wickets respectively.Anandeshwar Polypack in reply hit 131 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 19.2 overs. Dev Dubey was their main scorer and he scored unbeaten 64 runs in 54 balls. He was later adjudged as man of the match. Chairman, junior selection committee, Kapil Pandey gave him man of the match award. IPM carriers will clash with Rachit Finance XI in the first semi final slated to be held under floodlights on Saturday evening.
